Awww, now aren’t you sweet to mention me about the crimped padding for mailing. I’m glad it’s helped you. And I just used it again today, for my card to Maddy. I did find some 6 x 6 envelopes at my local craft store, but they only have them in white right now. So, I might still have to use your source if I want some vanilla ones. As always, you are the great communicator and sharer – Share On, Sharon! ) BTW, I just subscribed in case you haven’t already noticed. Yay! Linda

What a wonderful idea! And when you’re mailing square cards, they usually cost more anyway, so I’m sure the crimped cardstock doesn’t add any extra postage besides what you’d have to pay normally. My regular-sized cards are expensive to mail, too, so I doubt the extra crimped protector will add much more in postage.

It is immensely helpful to me…I didn’t know and now I’m sooo happy that I do. It would be nice not to grill the recipient about what shape the card was in when it arrived, was it intact!! It was very generous of you to link us to the envelope site, I love information like this, TFS.

Thanks for this, Sharon! I use quite a few of the 5 1/2″ square envies so it’s good to have an economical source. I’ve also received Linda’s cards with the crimped protector and it works like a charm. The mail can be pretty rough sometimes!
