Flourished Rejoice!

This is another 5.5″ square card using a soon to be released set by Flourishes, called Rejoice.  It also contains the most gorgeous, large angel image you have ever seen!!!  Keep on the watch for it!!!  All stamping on this card is black embossed.  The main image is colored with reinkers and an aquapainter.  The black border is made with the deer’s antlers from another set coming out on 10/03 by Flourishes, called Flourished Christmas.  I’ve got several other items with that gorgeous deer uploaded here as well.

The wide satin ribbon used on this card is also from Flourishes.  If it’s not in their store yet, it will be real soon!  It is by May Arts and is the same as the Chocolate and Pomegranate by SU!, only in different colors.  The brown that I’ve used here from Flourishes is a bit lighter, brighter and with a bit more of a golden tone to it than the SU! Chocolate.  The true color of this ribbon is not reflected in this photo (and I fiddled with the colors a lot!) — sorry!!!  It is a beautiful compliment to the River Rock paper, which also isn’t the right color in this photo!!! That’s about it — another quick and easy card with only 1 stamp for a main image and one for the background!!!

  • Stamps:  Rejoice and Flourished Christmas, both by Flourishes
  • Paper:  Blue Bayou, River Rock, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
  • Ink:  Versa Mark.  Reinkers in Soft Sky, River Rock, Purely Pomegranate.
  • Accessories:  Black Detail EP, Aquapainter, Ribbon, Mounting Tape
  • Measurements:  Card is 5.5″ square; main image panel is 4″ square
