Elzybell Challenge

What a fun day today is going to be (Tuesday, 11/20)!!!   Jami challenged all the Dirty Girls, current and alumni, to a challenge using Elzybells stamps — specifically the one called A Winter Song (but they could use a different one if they didn’t have this one).  And many accepted this challenge — 32 the last time I counted — LOL!!!  These little Elzybells are just the most adorable stamps.  They originated in Great Britain and A Muse is producing them in North America.  From what I am told, the stamps produced in Great Britain are considerably larger than the little ones produced by A Muse, and I do believe several of the girls ordered right from Great Britain to get the larger ones, so I’m very anxious to see what pops up in the gallery at SCS today!!!  To check out all the uploads for this challenge, click on this keyword, DCE1107.  We are not supposed to upload until today, so it may take a bit till they are all uploaded, so check back and see.

Here’s my challenge card.  The challenge specified that we must use this stamp, A Winter Song, if we had it, we had to use Pretty in Pink and we could use NO designer paper — now THAT was the killer — we have all certainly become dependent on DP, haven’t we?

Mine is a gift card holder, made the same as several I have posted of recent.  You may click here to see the complete instructions on how to make this gift card holder.  I used the required Pretty in Pink, along with black and white. The bottom portion is stamped with the Floral b/g stamp from SU, and the top little snowflake is from Perfect Presentation — what a cute little snowflake!  I colored the image with ink refills on my pad lids and a Blender Pen.  Worked great for this tiny image.  The snow on the post and the trim on her clothes are done with the Signo White Gel Pen.  My main image is cut and embossed in the Cuttlebug with a Nestabilities rectangle die, and the pink scallop is also cut and embossed in the same fashion with a scallop rectangle die. I just measured and cut the black mat.  The sentiment is also from the Elzybell line, and my pink taffeta ribbon is from SU.  There is a self-adhesive Velcro dot under the main image to keep the top portion down and closed.
