Are these gorgeous sets, or what!!! I am so pleased to be able to work with these gorgeous images, but even more pleased to be able to show you what our fabulous Design Team has done with these images. Please check out the following Blogs for somesuper fantasticsamples: Leslie Miller, Julie Koerber, Linda Duke, Susan Roberts, Faith Hofrichter. (If you are catching this post early, please be patient as the girls are trying to complete their uploads.) And here is a gorgeous sample by Jan Marie.

And here’s my first sample to show you, using our Stamp Simply release, Coffee with Friends. Such a fun set!!!

This card is 5.5 square and features a tall, narrow, paper-pieced coffee mug, using papers from the Sultry pad by Basic Grey. I also used our Black Sheer Ribbon, Petitie Oval Nestabilities, and the Long Rectangle Nestabilities to make the scallop. The corner punch is the retired Wrought Iron punch by SU. The ribbon is run through holes punched with the Cropadile. Pink brads from SU and Pop Dots for the sentimentfinish off the supply list.

Next I have a card sized to fit into the small open end envelopes by SU. It is3.25″ x 6.5″ tall.

My stack of mugs from Coffee with Friendswere colored with Copics, cut, embossed and matted using the Long Rectangle Nestabilities. Again, my Petite Oval Nestabilies were used, along with black SU brads and, of course, my Black Sheer Ribbon. Mounting tape was used behind the main image.

My last sample for today takes on a more comtemporary look, and it combines the use of Coffee With Friendsand Peony, using the small Lily of the Valley and leaves from that set.

I merely stamped my tall mug from Coffee with Friends onto the designer paper, Sultry by Basic Grey, and cut out ONLY thecup portion not the handle or saucer. This gives me a PERFECT vase for my pretty Lily of the Valley how fun!!! My Lily of the Valley were colored in with the Inkksentials Opaque White Pen and my leaves colored with markers, and shadowed witha gray Copic marker. The black flourish on the vase is one of many included in the Coffee with Friends set. And, again, of course, my Black Sheer Ribbon (Ill use a different ribbon tomorrow, I promise - LOL!) The butterfly is a punch by Martha Stewart. Again, the main image is on mouting tape for a bit of elevation.

So, how is that for three very simple creations using the June releases from Flourishes!!! I had so much fun making these simple cards for you to see, and if you’d like to see some more Stamp Simply creations, please check in tomorrow (Wednesday) for my regular weekly feature called May I Suggest… I’ll have a lot of fun, and simple, things in store!!! And please note — the 10 Minute Tuesday feature is being combined with tomorrow’s May I Suggest… feature.

Thank you all so much for stopping in today!!! This day has been long awaited and the process has been so much fun. I am just as pleased as can be that you stopped in to share it with me — thank you so much!!! Have a wondeful day and hope to see you again tomorrow!!!
