Masculine Birthday

I need a masculine birthday card for tomorrow and this is a really quick, simple design, but I like it!!! The black strip was shaped on the end by inserting it into SU’s photo corner punch.

Stamps: SU God Bless and It’s Your Birthday (inside sentiment)

Paper: Marigold Morning, Really Rust, Black, K & C DP

Ink: Versa Fine Onyx Black

Accessories: Vintage Brads, Photo Corner Punch, Mounting Tape

It’s really late — talk to you all tomorrow!!! Thanks for taking a peek!!!! Much appreciated!!!

“Wow! I could have had a V-8!” - How very elementary my dear Watson, yet never in a thousand years would it have occurred to me to create the banner’s perfect tails with the photo corner punch! Thank you-Thank you-Thank you! I love your card!

Wonderful “guy” card… not too frilly but still “pretty” for us. Thanks for the great tip about the photo corner punch! I learn something new every time I check your blog, which is pretty much every day!

This is an ideal masculine card with a simple but imaginative design! I love to oooooooh and ahhhhhhhh over the frills and pretties of a feminine card but I also very much appreciate the artistry in this piece and the reserve and discipline it exhibits. The earthy, natural colors appeal to me, too, so I think this is just an all around great card!

Great card - and I have all that stuff! I’ve always loved that sentiment set and now I know I’ll pull it out again for sure!

Super Card. Thanks for sharing. What is the stamp set the front verse is from? I checked the gallery & the catalogue and cannot find “God Bless” anywhere. It is a perfect verse for a special ‘man occassion’.
