Damask Mirri Bird

Published by at 10 59 pm under Christmas Cards,Inkadinkado

I made this card today using some of my Mirri Card from Marco’s Paper. I used up a scrap of red to cut the bird and thefocal image is matted with black Mirri Card. It’s very shiny and pretty IRL, and a lot of that is lost in the photo.

The stamped image is from Bold Damask by Inkadinkado. It is embossed with a mixtureof Black Detail embossing powder and SU Iridescent Ice embossing powder. To me this large damask image just looked like it could be a tree in need of a bird!!! The bird is cut and embossed with my Nested Bird dies by Spellbinders. This is the smallest bird in the set. Sentiment is from SU’s Many Merry Messages, cut and embossed with a Ribbon Slide die by Spellbinders. Bird’s black pearl eye and red rhinstones are by Kaiser. Ribbon is red organdy from Michaels. Bird is popped up on Dimensionals. I’m really loving this large Damask stamp and can see using it a lot for a variety of projects. I got my Bold Damask set and my Nested Birds from Joan’s Garden.

I have ONE LOT of stamps for sale, on the For Sale TAB above my blog banner. All stamps go to one buyer!!! Take a peek if you are interested!

Thanks much for stopping in again! Happy Holiday Planning to you all!!!

    Sharon,
This is the most beautiful card I’ve seen this season and I’ve seen some beautiful cards!! I’m a traditionalist for Christmas with the reds and greens, but this absolutely takes my breath away. I just bought an assortment of some of that beautiful Mirri card stock – this might encourage me to take that jump and actually USE it!!
    Thanks for sharing!!
