Urban Snowflake
I made a quick little card today for the Color Challenge over at SCS — Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Basic Gray and an option to add Not Quite Navy. I got all my required colors in with the sheet of DP from Urban Garden and did add the Not Quite Navy.
A simple layout that I’ve been enjoying a lot lately. My snowflake is covered with glue and then Dazzling Diamonds.

Editing to Add: I just saw something I thought I’d pass on to you. I recently did a little Christmas shopping — for ME!!! LOL!!! After all, who knows what I want better than I do!!! I got quite a few fun new stamps that I plan to share as soon as I’m done with my Christmas cards and I also replenished my Prism paper supply in favorite colorsI had run out of. I did my shopping (for the first time) at Stampers Dream. It was GREAT to find all I needed there!!! And I just heard they are having a sale NOW on allHoliday stamps and Cuttlebug foldersand some non-Christmas items as well. You can read about it here. I was so impressed with the service I got, just thought I’d pass it on. I placed my order at about 2 or 3 a.m. and it was packed and I got my shipping notice about 7 a.m. — WOW!!!

OMG!! I missed your blog the last couple of days and all I can do is pick up my jaw off the floor!! LOVE the b/w cards, LOOOVE the gorgeous pop of the red bird on the black, LOOOVE the simplicity (and the different colors!) on the snowflake card….Is it Feb 14th?!! Lots of LOVE going on here! LOL!!

Simply Beautiful! I have this paper and could make a non Xmas card……if I have time. Have my last hostess club party for the year on thurs. We are going to have so much fun making boxes (yours and Leslie’s tutorials) and Nancy Morgan’s 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ sq. gift card tutorial. It does take a village to create, don’t you think?!? I never would have thought this color combo would make a good Christmas card – but WOW!! That just goes to show you how limited my thinking is LOL I love that striped dsp and gorgeous snowflake! What an awesome card and so simple to create!

Another great card! Love that snowflake – have that die as well and just haven’t had time to use it (guess that means it needs to wait till next year now unless I get to make a last minute Christmas card for someone!).
Very nice-I hadn’t thought masculine but went back and looked and the paper does remind me of shirting material. Like the sentiment dtp-looks great.
