Cosmo Lil’ Man Thanks
Today I needed a thank you card for one of my boys to send –a perfect time to try out my new Lil’ Man papers by Cosmo Cricket! Perhaps these papers make it a bit less *mature* than I was after, but these papers are so fun and I love the colors! Just because my guys perfer dark, drab and plain cards doesn’t mean they all have to be that way, now does it!!! Here it is:
I think it’s fun! Both patterns used are on the same sheet called Dapper Dan in the Lil’ Man Series by Cosmo Cricket. They were a perfect match with my Prism cardstock in Blush Dark Red(I LOVE this deep, rich shade of red)and Tawny Medium. Just a simple card, pretty much just playing with paper and one simple sentimentcut and embossed on my LabelsTwo Die by Spellbinders. The dots along the bottom were punched with an old-fashioned 1/4″ hand held punch. I then attached each dot to the card with a mini glue dot. It gives just a bit of dimension that I like, very easily and quickly. My sentiment panel is topped with a SU Mini Library Clip (these are so cute!!, I finally bought some!!!) and my bottom corners are rounded. That’s about it!!!

Ink: Versa Fine Onyx Black
Accessories: Spellbinders Labels Two Nestabilities; SU Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Mini Library Clip, Corner Rounder; Ancient 1/4″ hole punch; Glue Glider.

This was the first card I’ve made in a week — WOW — that was a long time!!! Hoping to get back into a more regular routine!!! Hope you had a great weekend and that you can look forward to a good week ahead!!!
