CAS Monochromatic Sketch

Today’s card used the Clean and Simple Challengeat SCS to make a monochromatic card, and I thoughttoday’s Sketch Challengewas a perfect compliment to a CAS creation, so I combined the two to create a very quick and easy card. Here it is:

cas10sc224-pink-480-wm-notime.jpg

Pink was my color of choice and we were allowed white or ivory. I used Friends 24-7 by SU and their Raspberry Tart DP. The ribbon is my 1.25″ Silk from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. Not much to say — a simple little card that went together quickly!

Stamps: Friend 24-7 by SU

Paper: PTI White, SU Pretty in Pink and Raspberry Tart DP

Ink: Versa Fine Onyx Black and SU Pretty in Pink

Accessories: Silk Ribbon from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, Petite Circle and Classic Rectangle Nestabilities by Spellbinders, Kaiser Rhinestones, Glue Glider, SU Dimensionals.

Shopping:

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store carries this silk and other May Arts Ribbons.

Joan’s Garden carries products used by Spellbinders, Kaiser and the Glue Glider.

I’m so glad you stopped in today. We had a truly beautiful day today — sunny, breezy and about 60 degrees. Hoping for more days like this!!! Hope you are enjoying beautiful spring weather, wherever you might be!!! Take care — see you soon!!!

So funny how I mean to type the first thing that comes to my mind. And today that was “Absolutely gorgeous.” But as I’m scrolling down to post my comment, I see that phrase already used a couple times! (And as I scrolled up to actually READ the comments, I see someone wrote this same thing! LOL!) At any rate, this is a very beautiful card!

    Hi Sharon,
This card is so very YOU & lovely as usual! I love how you can take such a simple stamped image and couple it with lovely paper and make such a stunning card. The weather up here in Canada is gorgeous. We Canadians wait so long for the nice weather so we are certainly enjoying it! TFS! Sheila

Absolutely gorgeous! Do you think it still works as a CAS card though? With the bling and layers to me it is a perfect example of a fabulous card, not simple at all. I adore the colours and the damask design is beautiful! Please continue to inspire us with your work. I CASEd you last week. I will send you the link by email! Don’t worry, I credited you in my blog post!

So gorgeous, Sharon — from the pure, sweet pink and white, to the beautiful, graceful stamp, to the delicious silk ribbon! Yum! While it rained today, we’re expecting nice weather tomorrow… everything is such a lush green. I love it!
