Dying Silk Ribbon with Copics

Published by at 7 27 am under Announcements,Tutorials

Hi everyone!  First, my apologies for not having a card to show but I just HAD to share this tutorial with you.  My friend, Jenny Gropp, is well-known for her beautiful and delicate bows.  She loves using silk ribbon and today she is showing us all how she dyes white silk ribbon using her Copic markers.  She’s also got a few other good tips and tidbits included in her tutorial  in regard to making bows and adhering embellishments, so make sure to stop in and see it over at Jenny’s Blog.  A very worth while stop!

Also I just want to mention that I’ve added one of Jenny ‘s favorites to the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store – the 1/8″ Silk that Jenny used today in her tutorial.  I’m also very pleased to say that I’ve also included both the full-sized and mini score boards by Scor-It on Page 2 Tools of the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  I love both of my Scor-It boards and I’ll be sharing more scored projects with you in the near future.

I hope to get a project up later today or tonight, so hope you can check back when I do.  Hope you all had a great weekend.  We are right back to our cold weather – but in all honesty, as much as I enjoy the warmth (moderate warmth!) – I do function better in cooler weather!  Thanks much for stopping in! See you again real soon!
