Stamp Simply #97 – Fruit of the Vine

Keyword ssnotime97 – There is no time limit. You can play this challenge and upload your project at Splitcoast and/or your Blog, anytime at all. You (and that means anyone and everyone, blogger or not!) can play as many times as you like!!! The point is to keep it simple, quick and have fun!!! Please link back here.

Fruit of the Vine – Fruit, the perfect summer snack, or even meal!  I love it!  Today let us whip up some fruity type of creation during this time of year when fruit is so plentiful everywhere.  I’m sure most everyone has some fruit stamps, or images, and if you don’t, how about trying to create some fruit with punches?  Or, if you really need to stretch it, how about some *orange* ribbon, watermelon paper, etc.  I think you get the idea — just get fruity and have a little fun!

Check out the great samples for the Stamp Simply Challenge today on the blogs of these designers:

Please bear with us as we are all uploading and linking on Thursday night. Everyone should be uploaded by Friday morning.

You can see all Gallery Submissions here. Thanks, girls!

And here is my fruity creation for today:

A simple litte 4.25 x 4.25″ card for today — fun size.  My fun basketful of apples is in a set called Autumn Blessings by JustRite.  It is made to fit the 2 1/4 x 3 1/16″ Harmony Classic Oval Stamper, but I  decided to cut it in the round for today.  SO versatile — that’s what I love!  Gives me many options!

Here’s a visual of the new set, Autumn Blessings.  It has 6 lovely centers and borders, with several of the centers being colorable images — how fun!   You can read more about this new release and see some great samples on the JustRite Blog.

As I’ve shown many times before, I do like to cut out my images to get rid of the excess rubber on the edge — doing so insures clean stamped images every time!

And here’s a close-up of the colored image.  I used my Copics.  Doesn’t this image work well for a circle, even though it is intended for an oval?  It was cut using my Petite Circle Nestabilities by Spellbinders.  My bow is made on the Bow Easy.

These are the Copic colors I used.

And here’s the inside of my card.  I used one of the centers from Autumn Blessings as my sentiment.   Fun and quick for a sentiment!  I know I’m going to love using this set this autumn season — tons of possibilites and options!  Thank you JustRite!
