And here is my lacey creation for today:
A super simple creation for the Stamp Simply Challenge! My stamping was minimal — just the fun and very pretty *What’s New* sentiment from Tiny Words by JustRite, cut and matted using my Petite Circle Nesties by Spellbinders. My beautiful image is from Birds and Botanicals Journal Notes. The image was the upper half of the sheet and the BIRDS was the lower half of the sheet. Here’s a closeup of the lace and other embellishments:
The lace is vintage from my stash, and under it is the 7/8″Gingham Checks by May Arts. The stick pin is merely a very inexpensive corsage pin with a scrap of Burgundy 1.25″ Silk Ribbon tied on it. And I’m loving all my new buttons — and I have plenty stocked up in the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, Page 3. These are the buttons by Rusty Pickle that come in the adorable little glass jars with latching lids — so fun, and so many buttons in each jar — I’m really loving them! They are sewn to the black panel with the 100% Jute String in black. I just used a large eyed needle and it was really quick and easy.
