Stamp Simply #133 – Chipboard
CHIPBOARD — Today’s challenge comes to us from Janine. (Thank you, Janine!) Here’s what Janine says: I have a whole box of chipboard pieces that I never seem to use as often as I would like… This week’s challenge is dig out a chipboard piece that you have and design your card or project around that piece or pieces if you like! If you don’t have any chipboard pieces then you can use a whole piece of chipboard or an empty cereal box, use one of your dies and cut your own. Or cut it out freehand.. Let those creative juices flow and see where your chipboard takes you!

And here’s my chipboard creation for today:
Another quick and easy card with NO stamping, and that’s fun sometimes, too! A generic card with no sentiment, on the ready for many occasions. Love having this type of card on hand. Both my paper and my chipboard flower/leaves are from the Blue Awning Collection by K and Co. Blue Awning is my all-time FAV K & Co. paper – JUST love it!
I mounted my floral piece on layered panels cut with my Spellbinders Labels 4 dies and added a rhinestone on top. The 1.25″ Crochet Lace and the 1.25″ 100% Ivory Silk Ribbon are both by May Arts and I have them in good supply in The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. This lace comes in 7 colors and the silk comes in 23 colors. Lots to choose from! My bow is made on the Bow Easy (of course — LOL!).
Editing Friday a.m. — Many have written already asking, so I’ll tell you — I have this paper pad (12 x 12) and this embellishment pack on order and they should arrive next week. I’ll be putting them together in a Stamp Simply Kit as soon as they arrive along with this lace and silk and we’ll see what else works well. If anyone would like to be put on a waiting list to be emailed when it arrives, just email me at [email protected] and I’ll add you to the list. I don’t know the price yet as I’m not sure how much ribbon will be added to the Kit. An email telling me you’d like to be on the list does NOT commit you — it merely means I’ll email you when it’s here. Glad you are all liking this so well — as I said, it’s my FAV K & Co. paper!!!
So glad you stopped in today and hope you get a chance to try this fun challenge! I have so many projects up my sleeve but have just been so busy not much has gotten made up yet!!! You’ve all kept me hopping with the Wrinkled Ribbon!!! Keep your eyes open for my post on Saturday showing you some more new ribbon — very, very pretty for spring!!! Thanks much for stopping in — see you all on Saturday!!!

Beautiful as always, that Bow is the icing on the already yummy layout and papers!
This is so pretty……the chipboard I have don’t look like that……
Absolutely stunning Sharon. The silk bow picks up the colors in the card, absolutely gorgeous!
Love your card, Sharon and the colors. That paper is gorgeous and also the blower and leaves. Do you carry the Blue Awning Collection by K & Co.? We are 3 ½ hrs. from anywhere to shop. :o(
