Stamp Simply #159 – Three is the Number

Published by at 11 16 pm under Uncategorized

Three is the Number – Today’s challenge calls for us to think in 3’s.  Your project should incorporate 3 panels (as in background panels) OR 3 images (as in the focal point).  Things always look pleasing to the eye when grouped in 3’s, so let’s see what kind of eye-pleasing trios we can come up with today!

Anyone is welcome and invited to play!  SCS Keyword is ssnotime159 for those who upload at SCS.  There is no time limit. You can play this challenge anytime at all.  The point is to keep it simple, quick and have fun!!!

And if YOU play along, be sure to link to Mr. Linky below so we can easily find you.  Please link the direct post, not your blog, for ease in finding the proper creation!

With a new month beginning it is once again time to say goodbye to one designer and welcome in another.  Chrissie Stokes treated us to her gorgeous creations for the last couple weeks of September and how FUN it was to have her with us from *across the pond*!  Thank you, Chrissie!  It was OUR pleasure and we hope you continue to stick around and play on occasion when you can.  Many thanks!!!

And I think many of you all know our October Guest Designer.  Let me preface this by saying she is without a doubt the MOST UN-Stamp Simply type of stamper I know — everything she creates is HIGHLY detailed and labor intensive, but she’s ready for some STAMPING SIMPLY in her life!  At least she’ll give it a whirl for one month!!!  Please welcome my good friend, Jerri Kay Jimenez from A Touch of Grace.  Welcome, Jerri!

Check out the fab samples for today’s challenge on the blogs of the Stamp Simply Challenge DT:

Please bear with us all as we each upload and link on Thursday night.  Everyone should be up and set by Friday morning.

You may see all SCS Gallery Submissions here.

And here’s my card for today:

A Christmas card *Stamped Simply* with mass production in mind.  All cutting on this card is done at the paper cutter — simple, straight cuts, quickly done.  My 3 background panels are cut from a sheet of designer paper in the pack — each is cut 1″ x 4.25″ and edged with an 18 kt. Gold Krylon Leafing Pen.  The paper used is Tis the Season by Kaisercraft, a 6×6 pad.  I have it in stock individually or in KIT form (links below).

My beautiful Christmas sentiment is from Christmas Nested Sentiments by JustRite.  The bow is 100% Silk and it’s made on the Bow Easy.  One single Kaiser Rhinestone adds a touch of sparkle.  Ink used is VersaFine Onyx Black, my favorite for sentiments.  The leaves are cut from my Satin String Leaves by May Arts and my little rose is a Prima Fairytale Rose in French White.

All items are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  To order, just email me at [email protected] with your list, your state/zip or Country, and I’ll get back to you.

The Prima Roses can be seen here.

The Ribbons can be seen here.

The JustRite Stamps, Paper, Rhinestones, Gold Leafing Pen and Ink can be seen here.

This paper in KIT form can be seen here.

The Bow Easy and Score Boards can be seen here.
