Happy World Card-Making Day!

Stamp Simply celebrates World Card-Making Day with new ribbon and a sale on ALL Spellbinders product in stock!  Read below for details, but first here’s a totally FUN card for today:

What a fun Christmas card to make!  I started with these darling petite prints in Cottage Christmas, a 6×6 pad by Imaginisce, and paired it up with my much larger tree that I adorned with new ribbon, 3/8″ Solid Two Tone (bow made with Bow Easy),  and decorated with Kaiser Rhinestones.

If you have children who want to make Christmas cards, this would be a fun one for them!  I just cut a template for the triangle tree, adhered it to my piece of 6×6 paper with removable tape and took it to my paper cutter and cut.  I got 3 trees from each 6×6 sheet.  I did back my designer paper tree with cardstock to give it more stability as I wanted to wrap my ribbon around it, and it just made it easier, but certainly not necessary.  Also, when I use my Kaiser Rhinestones and Pearls, I find myself using up all the smaller ones first and being left with the larger ones  — WELL — those larger rhinestones make PERFECT Christmas tree decorations!!!

This card is 6 x 4 1/4″.  I use the envelopes from Wal-mart called Invitation Envelopes for this size.  They hold a 4 x 6 photo — PERFECT for Christmas!

I thought this sentiment was absolutely perfect to go along with this paper!  It’s from my FAV set full of Christmas Sentiments — Christmas Nested Sentiments by JustRite.  It’s made to fit the new CLEAR Rectangle Stampers that I am really enjoying!  Ink used is Versa Fine Onyx Black. And I cut my sentiment on my Spellbinders Labels 4 Die, without a doubt one of the most used dies I have, other than the standard circles, ovals, etc.  I just love the shape and graceful curves of this die and find it fits in well with so much of what I love to do!

All Ribbons can be seen here.

The JustRite Stamps, Paper, Rhinestones, and Ink can be seen here.

Other Paper in KIT form can be seen here.

The Bow Easy, Spellbinders Dies and Score Boards can be seen here.

And check out my new ribbon by May Arts — loving this new ribbon in a 3/8″ width.  It has some degree of stiffness, or body, which allows my little bow to hold its shape and look so pretty!  And I LOVE the two tone coloration on these beautiful jewel tone ribbons:

3/8″ Solid Two Tone

47 Violet/Red, 67 Purple/Navy, 03 Navy/Royal, 15 Blue/Green,

16 Not Available, 36 Copper, 08 Navy/Gold, 38 Bittersweet, 14 Dark Red, 44 Red

$ .60 per yard with a 5 yard Minimum Cut (you may requst more)

$24.00 for a 50 yard spool
