Beautiful Brittany – Scrapbooking with Prima

Published by at 4 21 am under Prima,Scrapbook Pages

I have never claimed to be a scrapper, but today I made another attempt.  Brittany, who wraps 95% of the ribbon shipped out from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, is graduating soon and I have several gorgeous pictures of her — so if I’m EVER going to try to create some scrapbook pages, now is definintely the time!  I used almost all Prima product which I will link below.  This was FUN!!!

This is a 12 x 12 page using Prima paper from the Annalee Collection. I thought the sheet I used from this paper pack was a perfect compliment to the colors in Brittany’s top.  I started out determined to make a flat page for easy insertion into a sleeve, but — oh well — I think this will be the first page to the book and the others will be more flat — LOL!!!  The verbiage is computer generated and the paper it is printed on is the back side of the sheet used.

This gorgeous, sparkly butterfly is from Prima’s Butterfly Kiss series.   This white butterfly is from the Sparkling pack.

These are Prima’s Fairytale RosesFrench White and Baby Pink.  The netting I used for the bow is cut from the strip of Shabby Roses at the bottom of the page.  There was excess netting on the rose strip and after cutting it down I just used it.

For this rose cluster I again used the Fairytale Roses (French White, Baby Pink and Orchid) and one Trellis Rose in Ivory as well as some Mulberry Rose Leaves.  My little bow/ribbon is May Arts 1/4″ 100% Silk Ribbon in Pink.

And aside from the photo, this is my personal favorite part of the page – the Shabby Rose Trim.  Totally fun!!!  Soft and fluffy and easy to apply with Scor-Tape.  If you enjoy this sort of trim, Prima also has a Shabby Daisy  Trim that is similar — fun, fun stuff!

So there we have another rare attempt from me at a scrapbook page, and I must say, I DID enjoy doing it!

All Prima product in stock can be seen here.

And to offer a little treat today in celebration of me actually completing a scrapbook page, I have put my favorite item from the page on sale — the Shabby Rose Trim.  I must say it is rather pricey stuff, but OH so worth it, adding so much, so easily, to your projects!!!  Hope the sale price encourages you to give it a try if you are on the fence — I KNOW you’ll LOVE it!!!

It also shows up with all other items currently on sale under SPECIALS.

As always, I thank you for stopping in to see what I’ve been up to — I love your visits!!!

And what’s on the agenda next?  Well, I STILL have to make quite a few graduation cards and some Father’s Day cards.  I’m loving the new ‘guy” paper and coordinates by BoBunny and I’ll be using them soon — the Timepiece Collection.

Wishing you all beautiful spring-like days — we are still experiencing damp days — but the sunshine can’t be far off!

See you soon!
