Some Candy and a Card
It’s Sunday morning and I’m always rushed to get to church on time, so I’ll keep this brief today. First off, the winner of the blog candy from our Stamp Simply LaBlanche Blog Hop:
Number 14 was chosen from my blog, and that is Regina, a/k/a Mrs. Ham. Here’s what Regina had to say:
Congrats, Regina, and thanks for playing along! Please contact me at [email protected] with your address to claim your prize!
And THANK YOU to all who played along and hopped with us — we truly appreciate your visits and comments. Thank you SO much!

And I have a quick card to show you today — quick because I used my favorite little technique in card-making. It’s truly not a technique at all – it’s just what I like to do — grab a really pretty piece of paper that has some element of interest to it and work around that — makes it easy and fun!
I chose this pretty floral sheet from a Prima’s 6×6 pad – Madeline. All coordinates to the Madeline Collection can be seen here. This card is a standard A2 sized and I’ll use an A2 Clear Box to protect it and present it in.
Sentiment: Verve Plain Jane - 1 Chronicles 16:34, stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink, cut with a Spellbinders Labels 4 die.
Prima Flowers: Fairy Tale Roses in Orchid and French White, Rose Leaves in Light Green.
May Arts Ribbon: 5/8″ Crochet Lace in White, 1/8″ Velvet in Turquoise.
Kaisercraft Pearls: Chocolate Flourish, Light Pink Rhinestones
3D Foam Squares used for elevation.
All items are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store as linked above.

Gorgeous!! This reminds me of a French Tapestry for some reason. It’s wonderful.
What a great story, a shopping trip of 2 turns into a shopping event of 13. And of course more lasting memories were created as a result
lovely card!
[…] Again, such pretty papers — pretty paper, roses and ribbon just get me every time! More photos and details can be found on this post. […]
I will bookmark your blog and have my friends check up here often. I am quite sure they will learn lots of new stuff here than anybody else .Thanks for sharing this information. Know more about third party insurance.
I must show my thanks to the writer just for rescuing me from such a crisis. As a result of looking throughout the world-wide-web and seeing thoughts which were not productive, I assumed my entire life was well over. Being alive devoid of the solutions to the difficulties you’ve resolved as a result of your entire site is a serious case, as well as the kind which could have in a negative way affected my entire career if I had not discovered the website. Your personal natural talent and kindness in dealing with almost everything was helpful. I’m not sure what I would have done if I hadn’t come upon such a point like this. I am able to at this point relish my future. Thanks so much for your high quality and effective help. I will not hesitate to propose your web site to any individual who needs to have counseling on this problem.
Good blog! I truly love how it is simple on my eyes and the data are well written. I’m wondering how I might be notified when a new post has been made. I have subscribed to your feed which must do the trick! Have a great day! Phone Card |
