A Winner and a Bloomer

First we’ll announce the winner of the Blog Candy offered at our first Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style post of  earlier this week.  The winner was selected from Barb Schram’s Blog and she is:

Carol E from South Carolina

Congrats! Carol!!!  Please contact me at [email protected] to claim your prize package of rosettes as seen on this post.

Thank you for playing along with us, Carol, and many thanks to all of you who came to visit and play.  Your participation is always much appreciated!!!

And since we were playing with Rosettes this week, here’s another FAB creation by Barb.  What would curtains, daisies and twill have in common?  Well, you’ll just have to check out Barb’s clever project fo find out!

And I have one more Rosette creation as well:

This is a very non-traditional Christmas card, as so many of my Christmas cards seem to be.  I truly believe I rarely make a red and green Christmas card  — not sure why — I just really like the non-traditional colors and patterns, I guess!  I combined several patterned papers on this card — it’s SO fun to play around with a lot of pattern and color.  This is a standard A2 sized card (5.5 x 4.25″) and it’ll be put into an A2 Clear Box both for protection and for presentation.

Webster’s Pages Bloomers  (currently reduced)– LOVE them!  Easy to apply with Scor-Tape and they add a big WOW with practcially no effort.  They offer a lot of shabby deliciousness, even on my card today which is more clean than shabby!

The focal image was cut from the pad used today — all patterned papers used are from Webster’s Pages Botanical Christmas/Winter Fairytales 6×6 pad. Yes, new Webster’s products are in stock!

All product available by Webster’s Pages can be seen here — gorgeous stuff!

Sentiment is from Christmas Mini Sentiments by JustRite used with the Clear Mini Sentiment Stamper.  The tag layers were die cut using the dies included in the Happy Everything Tag Making Kit (currently reduced) – an all-inclusive kit complete with mini sentiment stamps, stamper and dies.

Also used:

May Arts Burlap String in Natural

Versa Fine Onyx Black Ink

Scor-Tape

Xyron X (to adhere narrow frame border)

3D Foam Squares

All items used are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.
