The 12 Days of a Clean and Simple Christmas – Stamp Simply Style – Day Six

Welcome to a new week and Day 6 of  The 12 Days of a Clean and Simple Christmas – Stamp Simply Style.  If you are joining us for the first time, feel free to scroll back and check out  the first 5 days of some clean and simple Christmas card creations.

The trio of cards I created truly couldn’t be much more clean or simple to create.  Take a look:

These striking papers in such fun holiday colors are from a 6.5 x 6.5″ pad by Kaisercraft called Silly Season.  As with all Kaisercraft pads, there are 10 specialty papers included in the pad.  I used 2 that were foiled and 1 that was glittered for my trio.

These cards are standard 4.25 x 5.5″  tent fold cards, which happens to be my favorite way to fold a card.  I love the sleek, elongated look with this fold.  The designer paper piece is cut 2.75″ wide and I’ve created a piping strip with Mirror Cardstock in silver.  It goes so well with this pad as some the specialty sheets are silver foiled.  This sheet of  whimsical trees is glittered.

I’m always partial to stripes, and it’s no exception with the foiled stripes in this pad.

This pretty sheet of ornaments is foiled as well.

And here’s the stamp I used — a fun, whimsical ornament wood mount stamp by Penny Black called  Wishes Ornament.  It is stamped with VersaMark Ink and embossed with Silver Embossing Powder, elevated with 3D Foam Squares.  A very quick and easy focal image!

And that wraps it up for today.

All items used are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.

Check out Deb’s project here.

Sharon, love your cards. They are so happy. I went to your store but the paper you listed on today’s card doesn’t look like the papers in your sample. I love the bright papers you used today and would like to get some. Thanks. Enjoy your week. I’m really loving all your clean and simple cards.

    • Hi Shirley:

The paper pad linked is most definitely the pad I used — it’s just the difference in the photos — you’re getting a better more accurate view in the photos of my cards than you are in the photo of the pad cover provided by Kaisercraft — that’s one of the reasons I often try to show trios of cards — to give the viewer a better look at what’s in the pad/package, etc.

The correct pad is linked — Silly Season by Kaisercraft.

Love these! Quick and easy. I wouldn’t think this kind of paper would have made such pretty cards but you prove me wrong yet again! Quick OT question though: where do you get the plastic boxes for the cards that can’t be.mailed in regular envelopes? I am new to this.

    • Hi Caryn:
