A JustRite Color Challenge with Stamp Simply Candy!
The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store is pleased to be the sponsor of this week’s Challenge #75 over at the JustRite Blog. It’s a color challenge, which have long been my favorite type of challenges.
Here’s the photo that was the inspiration behind the color choices:

And, being the matchy-matchy type that I am, I tried to come up with a blog candy package that would pull in those same beautiful colors. Here’s what I came up with:
There’s a few purples and greens thrown in, but all-in-all a pretty good match, wouldn’t you say?
Here’s what the winner will get:

Here’s my card for this fun color challenge:
I went quick and easy, clean and simple for today. It always feels SO GOOD to make a clean and simple card!
The card is a standard 4.25 x 5.5″ and will fit into an A2 Clear Box for protection and gifting.
The paper used is from Ambrosia, a 6×6 pad by Bo Bunny (many on sale).
The sentiment is from a brand NEW set from the JustRite JUNE RELEASE. It is a clear set called Large Fancy Sentiments stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.
Ribbon: May Arts 1/8″ Velvet (Teal); Divine Twine (Orange)
Flowers: Prima Fairytale Roses – Teal, Buttercup, Poppyfield
Kaisercraft Rhinestones – Silver
I applied 1/8″ Scor Tape across the card front and then adhered my velvet to it, cutting at the card ends. I most often wrap my ribbon completely around the card front, but not this time. I then made a separate velvet bow with the Original Bow Easy and glued my velvet bow and twine bow down, then glued the 3 roses on top, holding with my fingers until the glue started to take hold. For these floral clusters I always make, I use Aleene’s glues from superstores. It is very inexpensive and holds super tight once dried.
I really loved how the paper used on the card inside kind of mimicked my floral cluster on the outside. I am easily amused! LOL!!!
And there you have it — quick and easy, clean and simple, done in no time at all!
