Ribbon Inspiration with Darsie Bruno
Welcome! It is Saturday and we once again have some Ribbon Inspiration for you. Today I am super excited to introduce to you a designer many of you already know from her work with both JustRite Papercrafts and Spellbinders — two of my very favorite companies to work with. The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store proudly carries a large line of products by both JustRite and Spellbinders.
Darsie Bruno will be working with the Stamp Simply Design Team as a Special Projects Designer and I know you’ll love her projects today and won’t want to miss her future projects either.
Welcome, Darsie Bruno! It is a pleasure to include you as one of the Stamp Simply Designers.
Today Darsie will be showing us the versatility of a lovely ribbon by May Arts called Pull Flower Ribbon. Take a look at the gorgeous colors available:
This Pull Flower Ribbon is a 1.5″ wide sheer wired ribbon with 3 strands of very narrow colored sheer running through it. Any
or all of these 3 strands are made to easily be pulled to bunch up the ribbon,
allowing for the super easy and quick creation of flowers or gathers.
Let’s see how Darsie used the Pull Flower Ribbon. I am showing just little snippets of Darsie’s projects. You’ll have to click into Darsie’s Blog to see the full project and commentary on how she created these various projects.
Using the Pull Flower Ribbon in its simplest form, Darsie merely tied a bow, allowing the inserted strips of narrow sheer to act as an accent of stripes. Gorgeous!

Here Darsie used the Pull Flower Ribbon to create a ruffly center for a bow made of Silky Crushed Ribbon. Dramatic and beautiful!

Oh my goodness — HOW pretty. Darcie used a button center for a very ruffly flower and I’m seeing lots of other goodies as well. How perfect here!

And LOOK at this ruffled border. Oh, I have such a soft spot in my heart for ruffles and these are SOOOO pretty!
