Ribbon Inspiration – Darsie Works with Net

Today we have some wonderful Ribbon Inspiration for you!  Net or webbed type ribbons are so popular now and SO versatile and fun!  Darsie, our Special Projects Designer here at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, accepted the task of using three different type of web/net ribbons, giving us an opportunity to compare them and see them in use.  You will LOVE these projects!

Darsie’s first project is a Halloween card — see the full post on Darsie’s blog for more details on how she did this.

Isn’t this FUN using the May Arts 2″ Webbed Weave Ribbon.

May Arts 1.5″ Net is used on the pumpkin — it’s a finer weave that the 2″ Webbed Weave.  Darsie notes that the 1.5″ Net can be cut with Spellbinders dies!

I was giddy with delight when I saw this project — what a DARLING gift idea!  What teacher or young lady would not LOVE this gift!

Again, refer to Darsie’s blog for more details.

To create this project Darsie used:

1.5″ Net – available in 17 colors

White 1.25″ Silk Ribbon

Twisted Burlap String – Grape

Prima Meadow Lark paper

JustRite Papercraft Antique Autumn Tags One

Kaisercraft Blue Rhinestones

A miniature bridal bouquet — OH, be still my heart!

Refer to Darsie’s Blog for more information.

Here’s what she used:

Spellbinders Spiral Blossom One

2.5″ Net – Ivory, Pink, Olive

String Leaves

1/4″ Silk Ribbon - Ivory

Tulle – Ivory

Thank you SO much, Darsie, for  your time and talent in creating these projects for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Here’s a look at the web/net ribbons that Darsie used:

This is the 2″ Webbed Weave used on the Halloween card.  It is the heaviest and most large and open weave of all those shown today.

This is the 1.5″ Net used on the Pencil and Pad project.  It is in stock in 17 colors, more than are shown in this photo.

This is the 2.5″ Net used on the Bridal Bouquet.  It is the finest weave of the 3 nets shown today.

Tulle (ivory) was also used — available in 15 colors.

Once again, you can see all of Darsie’s projects here on her blog.

I hope Darsie’s projets inspired you today and that you feel like getting crafty with net or web!

  1. As soon as you let the word out, you may receive early recommendation from your peers based from their previous experience with these companies in the past. Yes, you can add their referrals on your checklist, but you also have to do your own homework.
