It’s been super busy around here and I didn’t have time to get a card made — not even a CAS card — so sorry, so sad — wish I could have.
But another new Christmas pad did arrive, and I’m so happy to show that to you — it’s from Kaisercraft, the same manufacturer that Michelle used on her card today. I LOVE their pads — they all contain 40 sheets, they all have some specialty sheets in each pad (foiled, flocked, varnished, glittered, etc), and they all have 4 sheets at the back of the pad filled with die cuts you can punch out. I often use these die cuts as focal images on my cards — makes for very quick creations!
We also have in stock the coordinating Collectables — still thinking along the lines of using die cut images on your creations, the Collectables packages are filled with die cuts to make your creating quick and easy, and PERFECTLY coordinated!
Now, this is not a Christmas card, but I’ll just show it here if some would like an idea of how you can use those die cut shapes, whether you punch them from the back sheets of the pad or if you have a package of Collectables. You just get more when you have a Collectables package. The packages have over 50 die cuts per package.
On this card I layered two of the die cue shapes from the back of the pad and added a scallop border with a Spellbinders die, Lacey Circles.
Designer Paper – The Lake House by Kaisercraft
You can see/read more on this card here.
And once we’re talking Kaisercraft, I’ll show you some pics here of their new Christmas pads, all in stock and shipping.
I’d like to point out that these Kaisercraft pads are 6.5 x 6.5, rather than the former 6×6. I really enjoy that extra 1/2″. I often like to make cards in the little larger A6 size rather than A2, and it’s nice to have that much more designer paper to cover my card front.
ALL Kaisercraft product in stock can be seen here.
Kaisercraft makes GREAT alterables for the holidays, too!
And if you like the idea of using die cuts in general, did you know we have an entire section in the store where you can see all die cuts in one place — and they all have coordinating paper pads to go with!
