Stamp Class Project – by Deb Saaranen
Deb taught another stamp class this week in Tajikistan. These ladies are beginning level stampers and Deb always does a GREAT job coming up with simple projects for them to enjoy. Let’s take a peek at what she had them make:
This is a simple gift tag — how lovely!
You can see the full post over on Deb’s Blog.
Deb used:
Noel Christmas Ornaments, a clear set by JustRite, for the sentiment
Antique Christmas Tags One, a clear set by JustRite, for the frame
Antique Tags One Die, a co-branded Spellbinders/JustRite Die Set
Deb uses up her stash of older papers when she does classes — wise thinking!
Deb recommends some of this years Kaisercraft Christmas pads for similar tags: Turtle Dove, Twig and Berry, Just Believe (all shown below)
Items available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked.

I just have one tiny little thing to share today — very tiny — LOL!
Ben bought a little gift for Jessie for her birthday this past week. It came wrapped in the blue marbled paper and, of course, I had to dress it up just a bit before it was given!
This is a very small earring box — just a couple inches long.
I grabbed a piece of 1.5″Crochet Lace and some Cream Seam Binding from the scrap bin on my work table. I taped on the lace with Scor Tape and wrapped the seam binding around and tied a bow.
The tiny sentiment is included in JustRite’s Antique Autumn Tags One clear set.
It was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and cut with the same die set I used yesterday – Spellbinders Back to Basics Tags. I am REALLY loving this tag set!
The metal heart is from Prima’s Vintage Trinkets – Lock and Key.
And that’s it — just a couple minute job!
Items available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked.
And would you like to see what was IN that box — LOL!
I wouldn’t normally share that, but —- I loved these earrings so much. They are copper — SPARKLY COPPER! I have never seen such sparkly copper before in my life. We live in an area known as the Copper Country for the rich copper in the earth beneath us, so we see a lot of copper around here. And I have a lot of copper myself, but these were just so different and so pretty, I had to share — here they are (and they are not sparkling in the photo like they do in real life):
These are available online at Keweenaw Gem and Gift, Hougthon, MI.

Thank you all so much for the positive response to the burlap, cotton stripes and suede leaf combo from a couple days ago. I loved that combination of products and so pleased to see that you do, too!
On that note, the Burlap Roses in Cream sold out in just a few hours. I do have more coming. They were supposed to be here on 11-07, but I now received notice they won’t be here until about 11-14, but it also looks like from another notice that they are in the boxes packed to arrive this coming week — so who knows! But they ARE scheduled to arrive sometime soon. I have left these Burlap Roses in the store and the product description will reflect that they are due to arrive 11/14 — but I really hope and think it could possibly be before then — I’ll keep you posted. Feel free to order them now if you want to make sure you get them, just realizing they are NOT HERE at this time for immediate shipment.
Also, to make your burlap string purchases quicker and easier, I have listed all the colors in a Burlap String Sampler for an easy, one click purchase. Most are ordering all colors, so I’m just trying to make your shopping quicker and easier. Here it is:
May Arts Burlap String Sampler
These 10 yard bundles of Burlap String are also available individually as well as by the full spool. See them all here.

Loved Deb’s projects and what a beautiful pair of earrings- lucky girl they are divine and I love the way you prettied up the parcel
Those earrings make me miss the Copper Country so much and my grandpa. His office used to be in the back of Haug’s Jewelry Store before he moved it to the corner across the street. I have a number of pieces of MI Green Stone jewelry and of course copper too.
