This is the Nutcracker Sweet 8 x 8 pad that Darsie used today – filled with lovely images to cut out, just as Darsie did today.

This card trio that I made and showed here about 2 months ago also uses Nutcracker Sweet and the stamp set I’ve used below, Large Fancy Holiday Sentiments, a clear set by JustRite.

For my clean and simple project today I created a card and coordinating tag:

Paper:  Kaisercraft’s newest Christmas pad – Merry and Bright

Cardstock used is SU Very Vanilla

The card is a standard 4.25 x 5.5″ size.

The sentiments on this project are from Large Fancy Holiday Sentiments, a clear set by JustRite,  my this year’s go-to holiday sentiment set!

They are stamped in Versa Mark, embossed with Super Fine Embossing Powder in Gold.  Heat guns are available here.

The sheets used on this project from Merry and Bright are both gold metallic and I LOVE them – so festive!

I then applied a row of May Arts metallic gold cutout Satin Trees.  I adhered them with 1/8″ Scor Tape along the bottom edge of the trees.

These trees also come in green.  All of the cutout ribbon can be seen here — fun stuff for this time of year!

My tag is 3″ x 6″.  I just traced my top angles from the lines on my work mat and cut.

The ribbon on top is 1.5″ Silky Crushed in Antique Gold – a GREAT match to this paper!

I LOVE the non-traditional colors in this pad — peachy/orangish for Christmas — totally LOVE it.  I have always been drawn to the non-traditional colors for the holidays so this pad really pleases me!

1/2″ Wrinked Ribbon in Olive, Moss or Brown

Seam Binding in Cream, Fig Brown and Mimi Brown
