CAS Copper Christmas Trees and NEW Daily Specials!

I always enjoy using copper, which I haven’t done for a very long time,  so today I decided to make some simple cards with copper Christmas trees.  These cards are very, very minimal, and some may consider them too plain, but I really do like them and they are super quick and easy to make!   Here they are:

Both trees are cut with Spellbinders dies, using Mirror Cardstock in Copper.

The cardstock used is SU Very Vanilla.

There is no stamping, no ink.

This card is a standard 4.25 x 5.5″.

The Spellbinders die used for this tree is 2012 Holiday Tree. This is the same set Linda used on her ornament card that I posted yesterday.

Please Note: When using ANY Spellbinders die with a lot of intricate detail, it helps alot to sandwich a piece of wax paper between the die and your paper — the cut piece will just pop out much more easily!

The trees are adhered using a 2-way glue pen,

The ribbon is 1.25″ Silk by May Arts – Ivory.

Kaisercraft Champagne Pearls decorate the trees, but  truly, I debated that.  They looked just lovely, IMO, with no decoration at all.  This paper makes these trees super shiny and that seemed to be enough.

This tree is cut from one of the NEW Spellbinder D-Lites, smaller dies that are so fun.  This one is called Whimsical Tree.  It really isn’t a Christmas tree, but doesn’t it look like the pear tree that the partridge should be in?  It works for me!

This is a little card at 3.5 x 4.5.  I’ll use it either in a gift bag or adhered to a box as a tag.

May Arts 1/4″ Silk was used on this smaller tree.

At this time of year, I make cards in all sorts of sizes as I use up pieces of left over paper laying around.  Cards don’t necessarily need to be any standard size if you use them on a package as a tag or in a gift bag.

Easy cards, not much more to say.

Something NEW!

Stamp Simply Daily Specials

I’m in a heavy duty organizational mode again, and that means I need to move some things OUT!!!

My intent is to post a Daily Special each evening on Facebook.  I say that’s my intent, beause I KNOW how life goes and in reality I likely won’t get to it every day, but I’m surely going to try.  Doing so would keep me on track in my organizational quest.

I will also show those daily specials here on my blog when I post.  Now I realize from emails that some of you feel you are left out in some respects if you don’t paritcipate in Facebook.  Well, that’s OK, you won’t be left out –  you can just check the Daily Specials category in the store each evening to see if anything new has been added.  You can find it right in the Sale Bins section.

But remember, if you like to get the first updates on new product and our Daily Specials being added to the store, be sure to LIKE The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store on Facebook.  The quick link at the top of the left sidebar will get you there.

I actually started this yesterday when I listed the Mini Scor-It-All Score Board at 50% off.

Spring Blossom Mini Kit at $10.00

And today I put together a fun, spring-like Mini Kit that is a GREAT savings at only $10.00.  This makes a wonderful treat just for  YOU or a wonderful gift for a crafty friend.

So if you want to check each evening, when on the store front page, go to Sale Bins, and then to Daily Specials to see what new specials have been added.

All items available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked.

You always show us how simple can be so elegant, Sharon. Thanks. Regarding the daily sale: As I live in Canada, I was wondering if we have to purchase an item the day it is on sale, or are we able to bank items for one larger shipment.
