Sparkly Christmas – Playing with Favorites

Something on the schedule got cancelled today and thus a few bonus hours were thrown my way — WOW!  That doesn’t happen too often!!!  Soooooo, I decided to pull out some of my very favorites for Christmas and make a couple cards.  And what are my favorites this Christmas season?  There are so many it really is hard to pick, but for today, these were my picks:

Two Penny Black Stamps – Adornment and Starlit (ADORE these easy-to-use stamps)

Kaisercraft Christmas Paper – Merry and Bright (LOVE the non-traditional colors here)

JustRite Sentiments – Joy to the World Medallion Labels (LOVE the swirly letter tails)

GOLD – Embossing Powder, Pen (EASY to create a touch of class)

Rhinestones – (GOTTA LOVE the sparkle)

Here’s the two cards I made this afternoon:

Yes, I LOVE the non-traditional colors here!  Orange for Christmas — why NOT!  And paired with gold — I never would have thought of it, but I LOVE it!

The paper is Merry and Bright by Kaisercraft.

All Kaisercraft pads can be seen here.

This stamp is Starlit by Penny Black, a wood mount.

All images and sentiments today are gold embossed using VersaMark Ink, Super Fine Embossing Powder (gold).  Heat guns available here.

Spellbinders Dies:  Rectangle Nesties, Circle Nesties, Classic Edges Two Edgeabilities

The pretty sentiments on both cards are from a JustRite cling set – Joy to the World Medallion Labels.

The stamp used here is Adornment by Penny Black, another wood mount stamp.

All the holiday Penny Black wood mount stamps in stock can be seen here.

I used a Zig Painty Pen (gold) to edge the designer paper on this card.

Spellbinders Dies:  Square Nesties, Circle Nesties

The Rhinestones used on both cards are ORANGE Kaisercraft.  I realize they don’t look very orange in these photos, but they are — very pretty!

The ribbon used is May Arts 3/8″ Solid Two Tone in Bittersweet.

The bows were made with the Original Bow Easy.

3D Foam Squares were used for elevation on both cards.

I had fun making these today — hope you like them!

Sharon those cards are awesome. You are so talented and crafty to have the ability to think of all the beautiful items to make. You have more talent in your pinkie finger than I do in my entire body…lol.
