Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, everyone!  I didn’t intend to be absent from blogland for so long, but to say things have been busy would be an understatement.  I am sure you are all in the same boat!

I hope your Christmas celebration is filled with family and friends as we celebrate the Greatest Gift of All — Jesus Christ our Savior, who was born as a small babe so many years ago.  Let us all remember the real Reason for the Season!

I snapped a few photos over the last week as I was wrapping gifts.  I keep gift wrapping simple, often using nothing more than ribbon — here’s a few of my favorites this year:

This is the most crafty I got this season for gift wrapping.  I can’t tell what’s inside as these won’t be opened until the 26th or 27th when everyone gets home.

I quickly stitched up this bag at my sewing machine using the Burlap Fabric Roll and decorated it with 1/2″ Burlap Ribbon and Maya Road Linen Burlap Roses.  These tags were just cut with Spellbinders Labels Twenty.

This tall, narrow box was wrapped with paper and then a strip of burlap from the Burlap Fabric Roll, decorated using the same items as linked above.

When the packaging from the store is pretty, why cover it up.  These boxes from Williams Sonoma were just tied together with 1″ Grosgrain with Satin Edge.

These pretty boxes from Michaels were puchased to hold a gift of many tiny pieces, tied together with 1″ Double Faced Satin.

Hostess gifts of fruit from Harry and David’s were just tied with 1.5″ Wrinkled Ribbon, using the tag from Harry and David’s.

Cheese boxes from Jilbert Dairy were also tied with 1.5″ Wrinkled Ribbon.

And here’s our tree, waiting for everyone to get home!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!

May your day be Blessed with all of God’s Goodness!
