A Sketch Challenge Card

This evening I spotted a GREAT sketch on the JustRite Blog, so I stopped what I was doing and made a card!  You can find the sketch and the challenge rules here on the JustRite Blog.  If you play along, you might even win a prize!  Here’s the card I made:

LOVE this sketch!

I used a new paper pad by Kaisercraft – Secret Admirer (shown below).

This pad has a lot of pinks in it, but I went with the greens today.

My long fishtail strips were cut 1.25″ wide and I hand cut my tails.

Sentiment:  JustRite Hugs and Kisses, a clear stamp set

Ink:  VersaFine Onyx Black

Spellbinders Dies:  Labels One, Scallop Labels One, Circle Nesties (all reduced)

Ribbon:  Seam Binding – White.  Bow made on the Original Bow Easy.

Thermoweb 3D Foam Squares used for elevation.

My card took a turn when I got to the inside.  I started thinking it would be a green Valentine, but then I realized I once again have NO sympathy cards in my stash, so I pulled out my tried and true With Sympathy and used one of the sentiments from that set for the inside.  Now I have at least one sympathy card on hand!

I’ll present this card either in an A2 Clear Box or in a Clear Bag/Card Sleeve.

Secret Admirer by Kaisercraft — LOVE these colors and prints.

1.5″ Silky Crushed Ribbon in Teal and Fuchsia are great matches to this pad.

All items available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked.
