Bottled up Love Letters – by Darsie Bruno

Oh, what a fun project Darsie has created to share with us today!  And to make it even better, it’s quick and easy, and so very, very pretty!  What a great gift to give that also adds a little Valentine decor to our home!  I also made a quick and easy Valentine out of the same paper, but let’s look at Darsie’s project first:

Isn’t this lovely!  A great way to gift some little Valentine candies, but the bottle is the true gift here!

You can see the full post on Darsie’s blog.

Darsie used:

Paper: Bo Bunny Love Letters

Stamps:  JustRite Papercraft Antique Valentine Tags One, Hugs & Kisses Sentiments

Dies:  Spellbinders Classic Edges One ,Classic Ovals; JustRite co-branded Antique Tags One Dies

Ribbon:  Seam Binding (red), Divine Twine (red, pink, aqua),  Satin Scallop Hearts (fuchsia)

Prima Fairytale Roses (teal), Kaisercraft Pearls (red), White Embossing Powder, VersaMark Ink, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

And here’s my very quick and easy card today:

Well, I tell you, cutting those fishtail strips is quite addicting!  I can’t stop!

This card, though a variation, was created from the sketch challenge on the JustRite Blog found here.

These fishtail strips were cut at 1.25″ and 1″ and the tails were hand cut.  I’ve made myself a template out of a little business card, so I just trace the back of the paper and snip!

Since the paper is called LOVE LETTERS and the one strip used is of postage stamps, I stayed with the theme and used a postage stamp die.  Darling prints in this pad!

Paper: Bo Bunny Love Letters (the same pad that Darsie used on the bottle), SU Very Vanilla

Stamps:  JustRite Papercraft Hugs & Kisses Sentiments

Spellbinders Die: Postage Stamps, Classic Squares (both reduced)

Ribbon:   Seam Binding (black)

Miscellaneous:  VersaFine Onyx Black Ink, 3D Foam Squares, Kaisercraft Rhinestone (black)

This is the Love Letters pad by Bo Bunny used on today’s projects.

And that’s it for this simple little card!

All items available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked.
