NEW Spellbinders 3D M-Bossabilities – by Linda Duke

Are you familiar with the fabulous NEW 3D embossing folders by Spellbinders?  If not, you’ll love what you see!  I have a few projects to share today done by Linda Duke, along with a video link showing you just how to use these beautiful new folders to their maximum potential.

Just a bit about the Spellbinders M-Bossabilities embossing folders.  The standard folders (available in 2 sizes) come with TWO designs per folder.  You basically flip the folder inside out and you have the other design to work with.  A GREAT idea by Spellbinders.

Well, now with the 3D M-Bossabilities, there is only one design, but you can get TWO different looks as you have the option of using the EMbossed design or the DEbossed design.  And the depth, texture and detail on these folders is AMAZING!  A picture is worth 1,000 words, so let’s just look at Linda’s projects and you can see what I mean.

This beautiful card uses the EMbossed design from the 3D M-Bossabilites folder –  Framed Labels Eighteen

You can see the full post with more photos on Linda’s blog.

On this card Linda used:

Stamps: JustRite Clear Stamp Set –  Hugs and Kisses

Ink: Memento Ink –  Tuxedo Black; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Victorian Velvet

Cardstock: White

Spellbinders 3D M-Bossabilities:  Framed Labels Eighteen

Spellbinders Dies:  Circle Nesties, Labels Eighteen, 5×7 Matting Basics A

Ribbon: May Arts 1/2″  Wrinkled Ribbon – Pink

Miscellaneous: Brayer, Foam Tape, Tape

This card was made using the same folder, but the DEbossed design was used.

You can find the full post with more photos on Linda’s blog.

All the same supplies were used as linked on the above card.

And here’s a shot of both cards together so you can compare them and see the differences.

The DEbossed design is on the left, while the EMbossed design is on the right.

Two looks from the same folder!  Both just lovely!!!

The technique Linda used on these embossed designs to get the pinkish color into the design is called the Letterpress Technique. At the end of this post there is a link to a video — click through and watch it to see how simple it is to get such stunning results.

WOW — this just makes me feel like I am right at the beach!  AMAZING!!!
