Boxed Gift Card Presentation

I attended a bridal shower yesterday and presented my gift card in a clear box rather than in the standard gift card holder that I rely on so often.  The gift card was in a folder from the store which had the name of the recipient and the giver along with the dollar amount printed nicely on it, so I didn’t want to toss the folder it came in.  It was just about the size of an A2 card, so I decided to decorate up an A2 Clear Box in which to give the gift card.

This is how I altered the front of the A2 Clear Box.

Paper:  On This Day by Kaisercraft

Ink:  Zig Painty Pen – Gold, Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Antique Linen, Sponge Dauber, VersaMark, Super Fine Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Gun

I made the tag using punch out die cuts from the back of the Kaisercraft pad.  I always enjoy using the punch outs in their pads!

I made the band from paper in the pad (had to piece it) and covered it with silk.

Stamps:  Graceful Monogram by JustRite

Dies:  Spellbinders  Circle Nesties, Fantastic Flourish Two Die D-Lite

Resin Cameo:  Webster’s Pages Perfect Accents – Kissing Birds

Miscellaneous:  Kaisercraft Pearls, 3D Foam Squares

The band and ribbon were wrapped completely around the A2 Clear Box.  It opens easily from the top end with no need to remove any of the decorative elements.

Just another way to present a gift card to make it look more life a “gift” rather than a “card”.
