DARE to Get Dirty at Splitcoaststampers!

Today begins what I always consider to be the MOST fun week at Splitcoaststampers.  A week full of challenges hosted by the SCS Dirty Dozen and Alumni.  If you enjoy challenges, this is YOUR week to play along.  Multiple challenges each day will get your creative juices flowing and give you TONS of inspiration!

Check out the challenges over at SCS and join in on the fun!  Click here for Dare to Get Dirty 2013 details.

You do need to be a fan club member to play along, so what better time to join!  Find Fan Club information here.

I played along with Susan’s challenge today (rainy at SCS), making an anniversary card for our son and daughter-in law.

This was fun to make in these bright and cheerful colors!

Paper:  Secret Admirer by Kaisercraft

Stamps:  Love by Our Daily Bread Design (used outside and inside)

Ink:  VersaMark, Super Fine Embossing Powder – Silver, Heat Gun

Dies:  Spellbinders A2 Curved Borders One, Square Nesties

Ribbon:  May Arts 1/4″ Silk – Celery; Bow made on the Bigger Bow Easy

Flowers:  Prima Serenade – Pink

Miscellaneous:  Kaisercraft Rhinestone – Hot Pink; 3D Foam Squares, Scor Tape

Here’s a closer look at the detail.

The bow was made by wrapping the ribbon around the smallest legs of the Bigger Bow Easy 6 times.

The Serenade flowers have wire stems that I twined around a little paintbrush handle.

This is the inside – also silver embossed.

And here it is,  all boxed up and ready for delivery!

I used an A6 Clear Box and made my card 4.75 x 6.5″ so it fits into the A6 box perfectly.

And that’ll do it for today.

All items available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked.
