Today Heidi created a gorgeous altered canvas project with the Sweet Sentiments Collection by Graphic 45 in the 8×8 size and a variety of beautiful laces. The Graphic 45 papers work up so well for fairly easy altered projects such as this one, and Heidi is showing us some step by step photos over on her blog, so be sure to click in. Isn’t this gorgoues!  A little craft paint, fussing cutting and gluing is all it took to alter this 8×8 canvas to create this gorgeous item of home decor.

Ribbon: Venise Lace – Isabella and Maria, 1/4″ Silk Ribbon – White; Delicate Vintage Lace;  3/4″ Pleated Trim – Ivory

(The 3/4″ Pleated Trim is also included in the Vintage Pink Ribbon Sampler that Heidi pulled it from)

Embellishments: Melissa Frances Pearls; Tim Holtz Distress Glitter – Clear Rock Candy

Adhesives: Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue,  3L 3D Foam Squares

Miscellaneous: Canvas, Paint Brush, Folk Art Acrylic Paint – Linen, Hot Glue

Here’s a closer look so you can see more of the detail. See the cut items, popped up? Pretty trim edges the sides of the canvas and the pearls on the lace really dress it up!
