Sweet Dreams Butterfly – by Deb Saaranen

Deb’s card today certainly will leave sweet dreams fluttering around in my head.  It is just stunning!  I absolutely LOVE everything about it — the lovely little image coated with UTEE (instructions at end of post), the fabulous seam binding bow, the gorgeous Venise lace, and the fabulous paper pad used with those lovely prints and colors! The image was stamped with one of the small cling sets by JustRite called Butterflies, colored with Copics and embossed with UTEE.  Deb often glazes her images in this manner to give them a rich look. The paper pad is from My Mind’s Eye called Chalk Studio. Take a look:

Love the coloring on the image.  This is so, so beautiful!

You can find Deb’s post on her blog here.

Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel (clear) by Ranger

This is what Deb uses so often to “clear coat” her images.  She just embosses them a couple times, each time the coating gets thicker.  This is also how she dos the “cracked glass technique”.  Emboss in the same fashion, then just “crack the glass”.  It’s a gorgeous technique.

This is an example of one of Deb’s projects with the cracked glass technique.
