I found myself at about noon on Saturday needing two money holder cards REAL quick – one for a wedding one of our sons was heading off to and one for a graduation party I was going to. WHY does so much get left for the last minute? Is it ONLY me?  Well, I relied on a simple tried and true gift card holder that I’ve made probably hundreds of times (truly) and they make up in minutes. I’ll show you the wedding card I made now and the graduation card tomorrow morning. Here’s the wedding card money holder:

Paper: Cardstock – White

Paper: Cottage Living by Pebbles – NEW!!!

Spellbinders Fancy Tags Two

Embellishments: Rhinestones – Kaisercraft Black

Adhesives: Tape Runner and 3D Foam Squares, Scor Tape

Cut and Score Instructions for Gift Card Holder:

Use 1/2 sheet paper – 5.5 x 8.5″.

Score at 2″ and 6″.  Fold.

The 2″ flap is the pocket (secure up with Scor Tape).

The flap a bit larger is the card front/ top.  Create a decorative panel to adhere to top flap.

Insert gift card, cash, check or little note into pocket.

Done!

Dimensions and score lines can be adjusted to make a holder of any size!  This is the size I most commonly use.  The idea/measurements were picked up years ago from Splitcoaststampers.
