Explosion Flower Box – by Holly McMillen

Today Holly shares a beautiful explosion box she created using Spellbinders dies and lovely papers from the Gilded Lily Collection by Graphic 45. It is a truly stunning project that would make such an impressive gift. Take a look:

Prettiness overload – oh my!!!! It just doesn’t get any lovelier!

This project is created completely with dies, so that makes it super easy.

Holly followed the instructions on Darsie’s You Tube Video here – and you can, too!

Darsie used stamped and cut flowers in her video whereas Holly used die cut flowers on her project today.

Here’s a view a bit more from the side. GORGEOUS!

These sets are both some of Spellbinders newer flower dies that have proven to be wildly popular.

Looking at Holly’s project today makes it very clear why.

In contrast, this die has been around for quite some time, and it remains as popular and useful today as when it first came out.

Les Papillions S4-371

Did you notice the stunning butterflies on Holly’s box? The butterfly on the front is cut from vellum while the butterfly on the side is cut from the Gilded Lily Collection used.

Do you like butterflies?  We have a lot of butterfly themed dies and other products here.

Spellbinders Lacey Circles

I love this delicate, pretty circle border.

It goes especially well with the scallop design on Holly’s box today.
