I have a large sympathy card to share today. It is a full sheet (8.5 x 11) folded in half. Sometimes I just like to make large cards. It gives you more room to add what you like. Also, I often make large cards (usually birthday) for people at church when everyone needs to sign the same card. It gives them room to sign and write a little note. Here’s my autumn themed sympathy card that is 8.5 x 5.5″. Take a look:

The upper panel is dry embossed with a Darice embossing folder while the scripture is stamped with Delicata ink in a beautifully rich copper color.

And here is the card inside – Psalm 23 – my favorite for a sympathy card.

It is also stamped in copper.

With Sympathy Embossing Folder

This folder has a straight line perimeter border sized to fit an A2 card.

For my card today, I just cut around the perimeter border and used it as a panel on my larger card.

Delicata Ink

Likewise, we have the metallic Delicata inks available in Gold, Silver, Copper and Shimmer White as well.

These inks are stunning. You get a beautiful metallic sheen and luster without the fuss of heat embossing; however, you can choose to heat emboss if you like. I did not emboss on today’s card – just stamped with this beautiful ink.

May Arts Reversible Satin – Rust/Gold

This beautiful rust/gold reversible ribbon is in stock in 2 widths – the 5/8″ used today and 1.5″.

The ribbons above are the same color, and the color on the right, the wider ribbon, is more true to life where the rust side is a beautiful coppery rust. The 5/8″ is the same deeper coppery rust, but it just doesn’t come through so well in these graphics.
