Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart – by Sharon Johnson
This was a bigger project. I made 102 items for a ladies event at our church that was held yesterday. The theme was Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart. There are 50 frig magnets that were boxed and used as table favors, 50 name tags and 2 thank you cards. WHEW! It was a busy couple of days here. I honestly don’t mind mass producing projects and this was a fun one. Take a look:
These are the frig magnets. I made 50.
(All supplies used will be listed after the photos.)
The same paper collection was used for all items made – magnets, tags and cards.
I used the beautiful Luxury Metallic Cardstock as the bases.
I cut the card bases at 5.75 x 4.5″. And yes, this is not the most efficient use of a sheet of paper, especially when needing to make so many as I only got 2 from a sheet rather than 4 if I had gone with the more standard 5.5 x 4.25″. However, since these were being used as gifts and table favors, I did want to make sure the magnets filled the boxes completely, thus my size choice.
And here’s the back of one, showing the magnets used.
Peel and stick, super easy.
And here’s one magnet in the Clear Box.
See how perfectly it fits. Just makes for a nicer presentation.
These are the name tags. I made 50 of these as well.
For the base I used purchased manila office supply tags. They measure about 4.75 x 2.5″.
The thin strip of paper on the top and about 2/3 of the way down were leftover strips from cutting my magnet papers, so I put them to use.
I glued the multiple leaves onto the magnets, but to make these tags go quicker, I just stapled one leaf onto each tag. And that was very much a time saver!
We had a guest speaker and a guest musician.
These thank you cards were made for them – again, using all the same supplies.
Here the card on the right is flipped inside out so you can see the inside.
Both are the same. These are a standard 5.5 x 4.25″.
And there you have it!
We had a GREAT day filled with friends, food, fellowship and Blessings galore!
