Today I’m sharing the cards that we did at our Make N Take Mini Class on Saturday. We were working with beautiful Kaisercraft paper pads, vellum, gold heat embossing and gold mirror paper. We went with a blush colored theme which I really love mixed with the gold and vellum. Here they are:

This is the trio of cards offered at our class. I think the ladies really liked them!

I love the soft and romantic feel to these cards.

I did struggle with the photos. It’s often hard for me to get decent photos with either the vellum and the mirror paper, and add in the fact that I recently broke my photos lights – oh dear. So I had to rely on natural light from a window, and it’s been rather gloomy here of late. I did my best and moved on!

This card is super simple, featuring a vellum overly with a pretty floral under.

I plan to use this as a Valentine and I have a scripture verse inside, but this would make a wonderful wedding card with 1 Corinthians 13 on the inside, from our Weddings Wishes stamp set.

I have a special fondness for this card. I love the sheer vellum card with the mini card inside and that bow, oh my! When making the actual card out of vellum, just be sure to use a heavier vellum. I used 40# vellum.

That pretty ribbon is just wrapped around and tied so it just slips off nicely to view the inside. It can then be slipped back on.

And these are the card insides.

The outer 2 are birthday cards and I’m using the center one for a Valentine, but as I said above. putting 1 Corinthians 13 on the inside makes it a beautiful wedding card!

All stamping on all 3 cards is gold embossed.

I used Cottage Rose for the designer paper on these cards. My pad of Cottage Rose became depleted so for the class cards I used PS I Love You, an equally beautiful collection of vintage type florals and prints.

Delicata Inks – a big time FAVORITE of our design team

The beauty of this ink is that it looks equally as lovely used as is or embossed.

Without embossing it has a lovely metallic luster; however, I chose to emboss today as we were stamping on vellum.

These inks coordinate beautifully with our Luxury Pearlescent Cardstock.
