Paper piecing. Super fun. Have you done it lately? I haven’t, but am certainly inspired to do so with this beautiful inspiration from Darsie today. She paper pieced our beautiful sunflower to create this stunning card. Take a look:

Isn’t that sunflower fabulous!

If you are not familiar with the technique of paper piecing, you can check out THIS TUTUORIAL at Splitcoaststampers.

Darsie took her paper piecing one step further by cutting out her pieced sunflower and mounting it on the darker backdrop, allowing her to elevate her flower (see how the sentiment runs under the leaf).
