To Every Thing, There is a Season – by Deb Felts
I was super WOWed when I saw Deb’s card for today. Deb is one who loves to pay attention to detail, and this card is a wonderful example of that. She used beautiful paper by Wild Rose Studio, created a fabulous floral cluster and used one of my very favorite verses from Scripture for the sentiment, which begins on the card front and concludes on the card inside. Take a look:
Isn’t this absolutely stunning!
Note the stitching done with a sewing machine – straight stitches done around the perimeter and a zig zag around the circle.
Here’s a closer look at that lovely floral cluster which encircles the sentiment.
Deb used a combination of purchased flowers, die cut flowers and vines, a lovely stick pin, tulle and burlap string.
The addition of both tulle and burlap string is Deb’s signature floral specialty and I totally {{{love}}} it!
And here’s the card inside.
Once again, just a bit of detail which turns the inside into an absolute delight and surprise when opening.
And note the conclusion of the sentiment which began on the card front – totally love that, too!
