Deb created a fun birthday card for us today. A belly band is always a fun feature, requiring the recipient to truly “open” the card to see the inside. Deb created a belly band using one of the birthday sentiments in our NEW release and our Fishtail Sentiment Banners. It’s a GREAT idea that I can’t wait to try myself. Take a look:

Can you see how the belly band wraps around the card and the Fishtail Sentiment Banner with the sentiment is adhered to the top of the belly band, along with a fun button-type feature made from circle dies.

A fun card to open, for sure!

This is the opened card once the belly band is slipped off.

I love how Deb carried the darker floral paper used on the front through to the inside as well.

The heart is cut out of the red and the sentiment peeks through the open heart window.
