With Memorial Day, Flag Day and the 4th of July on the horizon (goodness, where does the time go!), Deb is starting us off with a card to honor our Veterans with an Americana theme. And who doesn’t love a good Americana themed project! Using our Patriotic Sentiments stamp set, cards for any of our patriotic holidays can be made. Let’s take a look at Deb’s card for today:

What a great card to honor any veteran in your life.

It is simply made, but packs a whole lot of punch! I always love that!!!

I love how Deb highlighted the stars here.

Each star was die cut, then scored so she could “form” them into the elevated shape.

But check out what she did to the dotted background paper. Can you see how she die cut the star shape out of the dotted paper, allowing for a nice “frame” for each star she placed down. GREAT little tip!

And here’s the inside – fun, as always!

Deb used the Delicata Ink (Golden Glitz) for her splatters on both the front and inside. She stamped the sentiments in the same ink, too. You’ve just got to love the Delicata Inks.
