Up and Running with a CAS Remake
Hi everyone! GLAD to be back connected to the world. 2 days without internet access is a little frustrating!!! I came home from our usual Sunday activities to find service, and I’m one happy camper!!! I’ll get to all my emails throughout the evening - thank you for your patience!
I have a simple CAS remake to share with you this evening. DS#2 needed a birthday card for 6 year old Emily - like NOW! Well, nothing in this house ready to go for little girls, so I did some scrambling. Does anyone remember this card? Well, I thought that just might do for a 6 year old if I switched out the sentiments. So, off came Summer and on went her name, Emily, plus a button for good measure. Here’s the remake:
Please see original post for specific details. Image is by Cornish Heritage Farms, Copic colored. I created Emily’s name using font by JustRite — Times New Roman, both Uppercase and Lowercase, used on a Harmony Rectangle Stamper. And please remember, all the font is still on sale at JustRite Stampers through Sept. 24. Be sure to check it out!
You’ll also note if you compare the two that I added Flower Soft in Nut Brown to the flower center on Emily’s remake. Sure adds a lot of interest IRL — I love the addition.
Please note I have a good supply of JustRite Products shown on Page 3 of my store. Also just want to let you know that I have some FUN new RIBBONS in, as well as a few other little items – I’ll get them photoed and up on the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store hopefully tomorrow (Monday) sometime! So stay tuned — I’ll post here when the new ribbons are all listed.
Thanks much for stopping in and for your patience with me while I was out of service. Keeping my fingers crossed that doesn’t happen again anytime real soon!!! Have a wonderful week, everyone. I’ll be back as soon as I can!

Editing to Add: In reading comments, it has reminded me that not everyone understands all the lingo we use when writing posts. I think there has been some confusion on the meanings of CAS and CASE, though similar in appearance, very different in meaning. Let me explain:
CAS means Clean and Simple, as in style of card.
CASE is a term people use, “to case a card”. Some people refer to is as to *Copy and Share Everything*. Others refer to it as meaning to *Copy and Steal Everything*. In either situation, when you CASE a card, you are copying someone else’s work.
Hope that helps!
