Deb created her tassel using thin gold floss used for hanging Christmas ornaments.

The gorgeous background paper is from Patina by Craft Consortium.

The gold paper used is our Luxury Pearlescent Metallic 105# Cardstock in gold.

Good Wednesday morning. Holly is here today with an absolutely lovely scripture card featuring one of the florals in our Floral Cluster Series. The scripture verse is from our series on The Beatitudes and these sets combine beautifully to create this very dainty and lady-like card. This would make a wonderful Mother’s Day card but would work for so many other instances as well.

As pretty as this card is, it is equally as quick and easy to make.

Mother’s Day is coming up fast being on May 14 this year. Karen created a lovely card for Mom in her typical vintage style using up scraps of older papers, some lovely lace, machine stitching and lots of fun, tiny fishtail banners. Embellish further with a tiny heart, a petite floral and some seam binding and you have a vintage beauty any Mom would love!

So many fun details to point out here – just gaze for a minute and take them all in.

Good morning on the Saturday of this glorious Easter weekend. Julie is here today sharing a quick and easy card with a wonderful message from scripture. This card came together quickly with the use of an embossing folder, a couple of dies and one sentiment stamp. Add in some gorgeous papers and there you have it – super quick, super easy and undeniably lovely!

And although sound advice year round, spring is such a wonderful time to sit back for a few minutes and enjoy all the wonders that spring brings forth. Good morning to all! We wake up today to this fun kitchen themed card from Esther. This is a fun fold Buckle Card as it functions with sort of a belt/buckle type of closure. Fun to open and super fun to make! Esther’s kitchen theme came together easily with the paper pad she chose and she added scripture to the card front and inside. This is a super cute card to make and the verses used are currently ON SALE (details further down).

Totally sweet – huh?

I’ll give you the product list first and the “how-to” further down.

The small postage stamp shapes and sentiment panels were cut with Postale by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

And this is the card inside which totally coordinates with the card front.

The lovely lace is cut with Crochet by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

Esther stamped in VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink.

See how the ‘belt’ catches under the stamps, creating sort of a ‘buckle’.

In Esther’s own words, here is the ‘how-to’:

Here are the dimensions for creating this fun fold card:

• Start with a piece of card stock measuring 8.5″ x 4.25″
• Score and fold at 3″ and 7.25″
• Cut and adhere two pieces of patterned paper to the front flaps
  • 1st measuring 2.75″ x 5.25″
  • 2cd measuring 1″ x 5.25″
• Cut a white panel for the inside measuring 4″ x 5.25″

I die cut some little stamps using Tim Holtz’s Postale dies and added fussy cut tiny kitchen items from the designer paper. The two on the left are popped up with foam mounting tape so the sentiment tab can tuck underneath and keep the card closed.

Both layers of the sentiment panel are also die cut using those same Postale dies.
