Most of you reading this are well aware of my love for ribbon, generous portions of ribbon!!! There are many ribbons I love that are not as easily found. It is those ribbons that I’d like to share with you. They are quality ribbons by May Arts, available to you by the yard OR by the spool — YOU determine how much you want. All ribbons are conveniently pictured on this one page — just scroll down to see them all! And I do plan to have new ribbons arriving on a regular basis. 1″ SHEER RIBBON

I am offering the popular 1″ May Arts Sheer Ribbon BY THE SPOOL! And that’s a lot of sheer — there are 100 yards on a spool. So, why am I offering it this way? Well, a few reasons. #1) I always prefer to purchase my own ribbon on a spool for convenience sake. It keeps better, it’s easier to grab and cut off what you need, and you don’t usually run out, allowing you to be generous with your ribbon usage. #2) By selling it by the spool I am able to offer you a better price so you get more for your money. Keep it all for yourself, or share with a friend. This sheer ribbon is some of my very favorite ribbon to keep on hand as a staple! Because it has no bound edging, it ties easily and fluffs up into gorgeous bows. It travels well in an envelope as it easily squishes flat and readily bounces back to life when taken out. 100% SILK RIBBON

When this order of 100% silk ribbon arrived, I guess you could say (in the world of ribbon) I thought I had died and gone to heaven!!! Words can not describe this luscious ribbon — it is so light weight and soft to the hand, you can barely feel it running between your fingers. It is as light and soft as a feather, in beautiful Easter Egg shades. It represents sheer elegance!

100% silk is a natural fiber with many characteristics that make it an absolutely perfect fiber for ribbon. This silk ribbon has a slight natural wrinkle to it and the occasional irregularity in weave, common to natural silk, only adding to its luxuriousness. Silk is naturally very flexible and elastic, meaning when stretched and pulled it will return to its previous shape and size. This is one of the reasons this silk ribbon is so very easy to work with for us as crafters. Silk ribbon also falls naturally and hangs beautifully, is almost weightless and even large bows flatten beautifully for insertion into an envelope. Silk ribbon, though delivering a HUGE WOW! factor, adds very little to the card in terms of bulk and weight. Truly, the most perfect ribbon I have ever worked with!!!

These beautiful striped grosgrainribbons are 1.5″ wide and 3/8″ wide. I am so excited at the thought of having both wide and narrow ribbons to match! The wide ribbon is super for tying onto packages to make a big impression, and how fun to have a narrow coordinate to use on a tag or card!!! I LOVE wide ribbon and routinely use the wide ribbon on cards as well. The wide ribbon feels like a soft grosgrain, and the narrow ribbon is super soft and workable, actually feeling more silky than a typical grosgrain. I have this ribbon in the 13 colors shown below.

STRINGS and CORDS

I love to use strings and cords on cards with either a masculine or natural theme. My supply had dwindled down to next to nothing, and when 2 of you asked on the same day about string for buttons, I knew it was time to order some. The string and cording is 100% Jute and has a very natural, earthy look to it, which is just what I wanted! This string is perfect for easily threading through button holes!!!

Holiday Twisted Rope - 1/16″

This twisted rope is SUPER soft and pliable.  Can’t you just see this on Christmas and Valentine projects?  Fun!!!  I will tell you, it untwists/ravels very quickly and easily when cut, so you must either tie off the ends or wrap with tape and then cut.  You may request cuts longer than 5 yards, but not shorter.

JOURNAL NOTES

I’ve recently fallen in love with these darling little pads byCrafty Secrets called Journal Notes. These pads contain PERFECT little images for those times you want to make a quick card, yet have striking results! The vintage images are truly gorgeous. Each of the 8 pads follows a theme. The pads are 3″ x 8″ and have 32 pages. A portion of each page is the image and a portion is lined, either for journaling or to use on a card, perhaps as a coordinated background or accent to the image, or you could get 2 separate uses out of each page — many options. Another idea is to use these as little list or notepads. You’d want to be adding to your To Do List or Grocery List when using a pad so pretty! GREAT for just a little gift for a friend!

I am so excited to be able to offer Cotton Scraps made by Crafty Secrets. I fell in love withthese Cotton Scraps the first time I saw them and I will never tire of using them. You can create a lovely card, altered item or scrapbook page so quickly using Cotton Scraps, and the result is ALWAYS gorgeous — guaranteed!!! The Cotton Scraps are images printed onto an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of heavy cotton twill fabric backed with removable paper. There is no adhesive on these scraps, allowing us to easily cut and sew them. The edges can be straight cut, pinked, frayed, or anything else you care to try! Shipping Charges

Shipping will be by either First Class or Priority Mail. These prices apply to all US and Canadian addresses.  Please Note:  Additional shipping charges may be required on certain packages, based on weight and number of items purchased.  The chart below was calculated based on sales of Ribbon and Cotton Scraps, lighter weight items.  Rather than up my charges for all purchases, I prefer to stick with my chart when I can, and increase only when necessary on heavier packages.  Thank you for understanding.

Orders up to $25.00 - $3.00 (add $ .25 to Canada)

$25.01 to $50.00 - $4.00 (add $ .50 to Canada)

$50.01 to $75.00 - $5.00 (add $ .75 to Canada)
