Praying for You…

Published by notimetostamp at 2:03 pm under General Purpose Cards, Verve Visual

Sometimes there just are no words — but I’m Praying for You is always appropriate. I made a simple card today for such a situation. I used the colors from today’s color challenge at SCS — Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip and Pink Passion. Here it is:

Not much explaining needed. That beautiful paper is Eva by Basic Grey and the Pink/Brown striped ribbon is by May Arts, available in my ribbon sale at the tab above my blog header. The sentiment is punched with SU’s Word Window Punch. A clean, simple and pretty card — I like it!

Stamps: Verve Visual - Serenity

Paper: PTI Vintage Cream, SU Kiwi Kiss, Basic Grey Eva DP

Ink: Versa Fine Vintage Sepia

Accessories: May Arts Striped Ribbon, SU HPH Aged Copper, Primas, SU Word Window Punch, Martha Stewart Scallop Border Punch, Glue Glider

Note: The Basic Grey DP and Glue Glider is from Joan’s Garden.

Thanks so much for stopping in today! Truly appreciate it!!! I’ll be back soon!!! Have a great day!!!

This is a beautiful card … I think you’ve been thinking about me … today is a bad day for me … today’s my mother’s birthday (she would have been 65 if she was alive) and I miss her very very dearly. Thank you for the picture of the card … I appreicate it.

This is a BEAUTIFUL card and would bless anyone that would receive it! How did you get the “swirl” look on the pink paper or is that the design of the paper?

Thank you for sharing this card!
