Cotton, Silk and Candy…
…Blog Candy. Cotton Scraps by Crafty Secrets and Silk Ribbon by May Arts are a wonderful combo, but when we add the Candy, they all could be yours!!! Let me explain why I’m celebrating with this Blog Candy offering. Many of you know that I’ve been selling May Arts ribbon at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store (real creative name, huh?), which is located on the TAB above my blog header. It’s just a simple little store with some ribbon that I love and use daily. I got so many questions always on my ribbon and bows, I just thought you might like some of what I use, so that’s how that got started. Well, my store will remain primarily ribbon, but from time to time I will be adding a few things that go well with my beloved ribbons, and right at the top of that list are the Cotton Scraps by Crafty Secrets. I have just added them to The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store where you may see them all. You’ll have to scroll all the way to the bottom, but they’re worth the scrolling!!! And here’s my Blog Candy offering today:
The winner will receive one sheet of Cotton Scraps (Flowers), along with the card I made about a week ago using the Lilac image from this sheet (card details here), and 10 yards of 1.25″ wide 100% Silk Ribbon by May Arts. You’ll get 2 yards each of the 5 colors shown in the photo (Violet, Lavender, Pink, Celery, Yellow). To enter all you have to do is leave a comment, telling me which of the Cotton Scraps (seen here, scroll down) is your favorite. Then come back HERE to comment. That’s it. It was really hard picking a favorite ( I ALWAYS lean towards Halloween or Christmas…) but if I had to pic one that really caught my eye it would have ot be the Fairies. And thank you for the opportunity to win a prize!

Hi Sharon, I absolutely love your work and check your blog several times a week. In my usual fashion, I can’t decide which cotton scrap is my favorite. I alway chose fairies/angels/cherubs (things with wings), children, flowers, and love — so, that means #5 Romance, #9 Fairy and #11 Flowers are tied!
I just found your ribbon store yesterday and love them all. Purchase planning is hard to do but I want lots of your ribbons. Love your new header…I may have to try this out. Thanks for the chance at this great candy. I love the flower sheet the most.

Hi Sharon. This is the very first time, I try this, as I´m very new to this inhere, and still haven´t figured all out about how things work, but I´m learning a bit every day ha ha. Thanks sooo much for all your wonderful inspiration with your cards, they´re all wonderful, and now this? I´m truely amazed. I went to look at the ribbons and the sheets, and it´s sooo overwhelming with sooo much beauty all in one place. All the sheets are sooo great, but if I have to choose some it must be the baby, the fall, the romance and the cooking sheets. They´re all just wonderful, and I can definately see a lot of potential in those. And all these wonderful ribbons? WAUW WAUW WAUW. What a pitty I live so far from there. ha ha ha.

The Cotton Scraps are all sooo pretty it’s not easy to choose between them all. But if I have to choose a favorite one, then it’s got to be # 9 the Fairy sheet. The ribbons are gorgious too. I love the organzy

#43 Wow, I love all that ribbon and I would have to say that my fave is Feathered Friends although I had several I could easily list in my faves.

I love anything vintage so it is very hard to pick a favorite. I probably like Halloween (but only by the slimmest of margins) best becaue it has a black cat just like we have. I always enjoy your cards and project…they are so beautiful! Thanks for the chance to win this marvelous blog candy.

I have never used Cotton Scraps before but it would probably be fun to try them. I think my favorite is the Flowers one. I love anything flowers. I would love a chance to win some of that May Arts ribbon as well. It looks absolutely gorgeous!
I absolutely love “Flowers”, I’ve used Cotton Scraps & May Arts ribbon before and I never tire of using these fabulous products.
The flowers are just wonderful….they remind me of what Princess Grace of Monaco said once, something like this….”how can you look into the heart of a flower and say there is no God”. She was passionate about pressing flowers and made large arrangements which she stored in a memory book or some such thing. I would love to win your ribbon….it looks sumptious!

Wow there are so many really nice one’s. Was taken with #10 Fall until I saw #11 Flowers. Love #13 Winter also, but Flowers are my first love so Flowers win hands down. You know I have something similar to this that someone gave me, have to go dig out my box and see what exactly I have. Thanks for the inspiration Sharon!!! Wow! The Cotton Scraps are a super addition to our stash. Inspiration galore as I ooohhhed and ahhhed over all of them. My favs would be the flowers - and to combine them with your fabulous ribbons (especially the silks). I can also see the Halloween and Christmas as favs in the Fall - and to combine those with the stripped ribbon - a sure winner. Also, love your blog, visit it a couple times a week.

I think Winter is my favorite. I am tired of the winter weather and should be ready for spring, but I just love the old fashioned santas in Winter.

I think IF I had to choose one of the cotton scraps, I would pick the flowers one. BUT, I can sure see lots of uses for most of the cotton scraps… they are really beautiful. Your card you made with these, is a beautiful card, and Lilacs are one of my favorite flowers… we had a beautiful lilac bush on the side yard when I was growing up.. they bring back some great memories!!! :~~)
