Stamp Simply #89 - Spring Has Sprung!

Sorry this is so late, my Blogs been down all night - it just got running again!

Keyword ssnotime89 - There is no time limit. You can play this challenge and upload your project at Splitcoast and/or your Blog, anytime at all!=You (and that means anyone and everyone, blogger or not!) can play as many times as you like!!! The point is to keep it simple, quick and have fun!!! Please link back here.

SPRING HAS SPRUNG! - For some of us, spring is just springing and for others summer may be in full bloom already. But wherever you are, spring and summer are synonymous with flowers — beautiful flowers…Today’s challenge is to pull out your FAVORITE flower stamp and make a beautiful floral creation for us. You ARE allowed to use images or flowers from sources other than stamps (preprinted images, primas, etc.), just as long as some favorite flowers are the main focus of the project. Let us fill cyberland with the fragrance of beautiful flowers this week!!! That’s is — an easy one again!!!

Check out the great samples for the Stamp Simply Challenge today on the blogs of these designers:

Please bear with us as we are all uploading and linking on Thursday night.

You can see all Gallery Submissions here. Thanks, girls!

Here’s my spring-like flowery creation for today:

Stamped Simply! Actually, NO stamping at all. To say life has been busy would be a gross understatement and I sure have been missing my stamping time. But when times are so busy, I still enjoy going down to make a card without using any stamps — just quick, use some pretty things and done! My tulips are a pre-printed image by Crafty Secrets (watch my store, I have some on order!) — aren’t they GORGEOUS! I used my Silk Ribbon, a little library clip and that was it. Not bad for a rush job! Didn’t take much effort, but still pretty enough to feel good about giving it to someone.

89-tulip-bow-detail-440-wm-notime.jpg

I wanted to show you a close-up of the little bow — it is 2″ across and I made it in just a few seconds using my Bow-Easy. If you don’t know what a Bow-Easy is, you can read more here and here. I am still gladly taking orders. My bow is attached with a glue dot. Making pretty bows has never been easier!

Stamps & Ink: None

Paper: PTI Vintage Cream, SU Soft Sky

Accessories: May Arts Silk Ribbon and the Bow Easy from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, SU Library Clip and Glue Dot, Glue Glider and Foam Mounting Squares from Joan’s Garden.

Thank you all so much for checking in. Again, I apologize for my absence. The Bow Easy sales have kept me hopping, for sure! LOL!!! I have finally gotten about caught up and have contacted everyone who wrote me (except if you’ve written in the last 24 hours or so — I’m getting to you real soon!). If you have contacted me about the Bow Easy or any other order and I have missed you — PLEASE email me again. With the large amount of orders and emails, I would never venture to think that I am exempt from making mistakes. Several of you left orders via comments on a variety of posts — those have been a bit harder to find and I’m hoping I didn’t miss any. Again, please just email me at ssj@up.net if I haven’t contacted you yet. There are plenty of Bow Easy templates coming in on a regular basis for everyone -no worries!

As far as my Dad, he was released from the hospital late on Tuesday and is home, getting stronger by the day. Again, I thank you all for your prayers — so much appreciated! There IS power in prayer!!!! Thank you so much for those prayers!

I have a specific project to work on this weekend, so I WILL be back soon with a card to share — so please don’t think I’ve disappeared from the scene totally!!! Hope you can all enjoy a wonderful weekend ahead!!! Thank you for stopping in!

I have a very simple flower and grass card which matches this challenge. I am so glad your dad is out of hospital and improving. Life has been busy here too, so much so that I hadn’t checked the challenge and didn’t realize I had made an appropriate card until Julie pointed it out. It is always fun to be involved, so here it is:
